Campus recently started Skate After School lessons at my childs school. They were very friendly, encouraging and helpful and it was a fantastic way for my son to build up his confidence before braving the skate parks, which sometimes can be a bit overwhelming for new starters! Everyone really enjoyed it and it was a fantastic experience. I've had loads of great feedback from the kids and their parents. I would definitely like to explore more visits/trips and we look into how we can spend our sports premium money!

The Campus team were really flexible and accommodating to our requirements. Communication was great making the whole process stress free to organise. It was nice to have something properly different for our school enrichment week and the students really enjoyed it. It was really nice in particular to see students with no prior skating experience getting stuck in and giving it a go. I hope to book them again next year to work with more students!

The team from Campus are absolutely fantastic with the children. They supported everyone to feel confident to get on a board. Pupils who were nervous came back absolutely buzzing about learning to skate and others learnt their first tricks! The skate instructors were great role models and showed the pupils that the skateboard community is a positive, supportive and inclusive space. Thank you Campus!

My daughter has loved taking part in Skate After School. She was nervous before the first session, especially as she was the youngest there, but came out beaming and telling us about all the skills and tricks she's learning. I feel like the teacher and other kids have really built up her confidence too, and several kids told me how well she had done after the club. We're so pleased that our school is offering this club and hope to keep going next year!

May Park has run Skate After School with Campus for three terms this year. The children have really enjoyed the sessions, recommending it to friends and continuing to skateboard outside of school. We have had the opportunity to use our school grounds which has enhanced the experience for the children. The Campus staff have been fantastic, particularly Bella, who has made sessions welcoming, fun, informative and inclusive ensuring that all those who attend improve their skills as well as having a great time. Parents have also appreciated this addition to our after-school provision and we hope to continue with the sessions in the future.

Campus went over and above to arrange a last-minute session for our year 5 children. They were very accommodating to our needs and very understanding of last-minute problems. The staff gave the children a warm welcome and were very approachable. Staff clearly explained expectations but understood the needs of our children. Their approach was calm and nurturing. The children felt very supported by Bella during their skate session. Bella taught the children a range of skills and I was happily surprised at the amount of progress the children made by the end of the session. Bella challenged the children to be resilient and have a go at everything. The children went away feeling proud of what they achieved and enjoyed the session immensely. Bella was able to reach out to children who often find unfamiliar adults and situations difficult. We hope to return to Campus Pool very soon.
