‘Bristol based, skater owned, not for profit. We have spent over 10 years raising expectations of indoor skateparks. With diversity and inclusivity at our core we provide a range of products, services & activities for all’

Founded in 2011, Campus Skateparks is a not for profit organisation that uses the positive energy and influence of skateboarding to engage with children and young people. With two indoor venues and skate shops in both North and South Bristol each with their own identity and unique design to cater for all ages and abilities.

Aim

To use the positive energy and influence held within skatepark based activities to engage with and empower communities to achieve positive outcomes.

By doing so Campus will uphold its responsibility to do everything within it’s power to ensure that skatepark activities are viewed in a positive light and that skateboarding continues to progress in a positive direction.

What we aim to achieve

 ·      To remove all barriers and ensuring that skateboarding is accessible to all regardless of age, gender, race and sexual orientation.

·      To promote physical health, mental health and well-being through skatepark based activities

·      To encourage the strengthening of communities by providing opportunities for social interaction, shared experiences and learning opportunities.

·      To empower all people who use our service to move towards positive goals be they skatepark or bigger

What actions we will take to achieve our aims

·      Within the space - Operate a wide range of services that encourage different groups of people to get involved

·      The way we staff our space - Employ people with the right attitude that embody the values and help each other and help to move the goals forward

·      The way we promote ourselves - Promotion of active and healthy lifestyles (mental and physical health) through promoting being active in the skatepark.

·      The way we reach out beyond our borders - Have a proactive approach to promotion of our aims that is not locality based but operates with a programme that reaches out into the community through events, activities, youth work, etc.
